In short

FunPixel does not require an account. We use a random device identifier to count edits and verify subscriptions — never your name, email or location. Photos you submit for editing are processed and removed within 48 hours.

1. Who we are

FunPixel LLC ("FunPixel", "we", "us") operates the FunPixel iOS app and the website at funnypixcel.com. Our legal address is 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States. For privacy matters, contact [email protected].

2. What we collect

2.1 Device identifier

When you first launch FunPixel, the app generates a random UUID stored in your device's Keychain. This UUID is the only identifier we receive — we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or contacts. The UUID survives app reinstall but is erased on factory reset, and you can rotate it from the app's Settings.

2.2 Device metadata

On first launch and periodically thereafter, the app sends non-personal device metadata to enable compatibility and quota accounting: device model, iOS version, app version, locale, country code, timezone, screen dimensions. We never receive the device's name.

2.3 Photos you submit for editing

When you tap an editing feature, the selected photo is uploaded to our processing service over HTTPS, sent to a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini or OpenAI) for the requested operation, and the result is returned to your device. The original and the result image are stored on our servers only as long as needed and are automatically deleted within 48 hours.

2.4 Subscription data

If you purchase a subscription via Apple, your device sends Apple's signed transaction (a JWS) to our server for verification. We store the original transaction ID, product ID, expiration date and renewal status — never your Apple ID, name or payment method.

2.5 Usage logs

Each editing request is logged with: timestamp, feature used, AI provider, success/failure outcome, processing duration, request ID, and the device UUID. We do not log the photos themselves.

3. How we use this information

  • To provide AI photo editing services you explicitly request.
  • To enforce subscription entitlements and free-tier quotas.
  • To debug failures and improve service reliability.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and policy violations.

4. Third-party processors

We share the photos you submit only with the AI provider performing the requested edit:

  • Google Gemini API — see Google's Privacy Policy.
  • OpenAI API — see OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
  • Apple App Store / StoreKit — handles all subscription billing.
  • Cloudflare — serves this website and provides CDN/DDoS protection. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers or analytics brokers.

5. Data retention

  • Submitted photos and generated results: automatically deleted within 48 hours of upload.
  • Device user record and usage logs: kept while your installation remains active; deleted within 30 days of an account-deletion request.
  • Subscription records: retained as required by U.S. tax and Apple compliance — typically up to 7 years.

6. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can:

  • Request access to all data we hold tied to your device UUID.
  • Request correction or deletion of that data.
  • Withdraw consent by deleting the app.

California residents have additional rights under CCPA; EEA / UK residents under GDPR. To exercise any of these, follow the steps on our Account & Data Deletion page or email [email protected].

7. Children

FunPixel is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the related records.

8. Security

All traffic between the app, our servers and AI providers travels over HTTPS. Subscription transactions are signed by Apple. We do not store passwords (there is no account password). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

9. International transfers

Our servers operate outside mainland China; AI providers process requests in their own regions, primarily the United States. By using FunPixel, you understand your data may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own.

10. Changes

We will update this policy when our practices change. We'll bump the "Effective date" at the top, and for material changes we'll notify you in-app.
