Privacy Policy

Effective:

1. Who we are

FunPixel LLC ("we", "us" or "our") provides Revio, including the iOS app and its supporting services. This policy explains how we handle information when you use Revio or visit its privacy page.

For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. Our mailing address is 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States.

2. Information we handle

Documents and on-device features

Documents, photos, previews and saved results in your Revio library are stored on your device. Reading and editing PDFs, organizing or protecting pages, creating PDFs from photos, and converting PDFs to Word, Excel or PowerPoint are processed on your device. Text recognition for these features uses Apple's on-device technologies. Using these local features does not upload the contents of your documents to our processing service.

Files may also exist in locations you choose, such as iCloud Drive, another file provider, Photos, exports or device backups. Those copies are subject to your settings and the relevant provider's policies.

AI edits to images and scanned PDFs

When you submit an AI text edit, Revio uploads one or more image crops around the areas you marked, together with the original text, replacement text, positions and any reference information needed for the edit. A crop may include nearby text or imagery. For a scanned PDF edit, this sends the relevant image crops rather than your entire PDF.

Our service forwards the submitted content and editing instructions to an AI provider to generate the result. We store inputs, results and related job information so processing, retries, result delivery and task recovery can work. Job information can include your editing instructions, processing prompts, status, timestamps, provider and error details.

Office to PDF conversion

When you convert a Word, Excel or PowerPoint file to PDF, the selected Office file is uploaded to our service and forwarded to iLovePDF / iLoveAPI. This includes the file's contents and embedded metadata. We return the converted PDF to your device. PDF to Office conversion is handled locally, as described above.

App identifier and technical information

Revio does not require you to register an account or provide a name, email address or phone number. The app generates a random identifier stored on your device to associate your service requests, subscription and AI edit balance. This identifier is pseudonymous, not fully anonymous, and may remain in the iOS Keychain after the app is uninstalled.

We receive technical information such as your device model, operating system, app version, language, region, time zone and screen configuration. Our service and infrastructure also process connection information, including IP addresses and request or error logs.

Purchases and usage information

Apple processes subscriptions and in-app purchases. We receive signed transaction information, including product and transaction identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, price, currency, storefront and refund or delivery status. We link this information to your app identifier to verify Pro access, deliver AI edits and restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple.

We collect first-party usage events, such as app launches, onboarding, feature selection, paywall interactions, purchase outcomes, imports, saves, conversions and AI task success or failure. These events may include an app identifier, session identifier, timestamps, app version, membership status and event-specific technical properties.

Support and website visits

If you contact us, we receive the contact details, message and attachments you choose to provide. When you visit this website, our hosting and security provider processes your IP address and browser or request information. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the connection information needed to deliver them. See Google's Privacy Policy.

3. How we use information

  • To provide the edits and conversions you request and return or recover their results.
  • To verify purchases, maintain Pro access and manage included or purchased AI edits.
  • To understand feature use, troubleshoot failures and improve reliability.
  • To respond to support and privacy requests, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

Revio does not include advertising SDKs or use Apple's advertising identifier for tracking across other companies' apps and websites. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Service providers and disclosure

We share information with providers as needed to operate the requested feature. The cloud processors used by Revio include:

  • Google Gemini — Cloud AI text editing: submitted image crops and editing instructions.
  • OpenAI — Cloud AI text editing, including alternative processing routes: submitted image crops, editing instructions and a pseudonymous abuse-prevention identifier.
  • iLovePDF / iLoveAPI — Word, Excel and PowerPoint to PDF: the selected Office document.
  • Apple — App Store billing, signed purchase transactions and subscription status.
  • Cloudflare — Website hosting, delivery and security; website request and technical information.

Our hosting and object-storage services also process uploaded content, results and technical records on our behalf. AI requests may use a different supported provider or a fallback route depending on availability. The provider links above explain their privacy or service terms; their retention and data-use practices can depend on the service, applicable terms and account configuration. This policy does not promise zero retention or a universal exclusion from model training by third-party providers.

Access to service records is limited to personnel who need it for operations, support or security. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations.

5. Retention and deletion

Local files: you control files and results stored in your Revio library. Moving an item to the app's recycle bin keeps a recoverable local copy until you permanently delete it. Copies you exported, stored in Photos or backed up elsewhere must be managed separately.

Cloud AI content and tasks: uploaded image crops, generated results and related job records are retained for processing, recovery, support and security. Retention depends on these purposes and any applicable storage or provider requirements. We do not promise a fixed automatic deletion period for all cloud content. To request deletion of server-side content or related records, contact us using the steps below.

Deleting a task in the app does not automatically delete its server-side content or cancel a job already accepted by the service. Likewise, uninstalling the app or revoking Photos permission does not delete server-side records.

Office conversion: the server closes its temporary upload storage after the request and attempts to delete the iLovePDF processing task when conversion finishes or fails. If the provider deletion request fails, removal is subject to the provider's retention practices; it is not a guarantee of immediate deletion.

Service, purchase and support records: we retain these for the purposes described in this policy, including entitlement restoration, credit accounting, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and complying with legal obligations. For a verified deletion request, we delete information we no longer need, while retaining records required for these obligations. Third-party providers may retain their own records under their applicable policies.

6. Your choices and privacy requests

You can use local document tools without submitting content to AI or cloud conversion. Do not start those cloud features if you do not want the relevant content sent for processing. You can manage Photos access, including limited access, in iOS Settings. Files are selected through system file access. Changing these permissions affects future access, not existing server records.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, or object to or restrict certain processing. Email [email protected] with "Revio data request", what you want us to do, and enough information to locate the relevant record, such as a task ID, approximate date or purchase transaction reference. We may need to verify your request. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or a full sensitive document to identify a record.

Revoking permissions limits future access to the relevant resources. Deleting the app stops further use of that installation. Neither cancels an Apple subscription. You can manage subscriptions separately in your Apple subscription settings. Where applicable, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Security and international processing

Our public app services use HTTPS to protect information in transit. We use access controls and signed Apple transactions to help secure service and purchase records. No system can guarantee absolute security.

FunPixel LLC is based in the United States. Our infrastructure and service providers may process information in the United States or other countries depending on the service and configuration. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those where you live.

8. Children

Revio is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact our privacy email so we can investigate and address it.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our features or practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
